Hello Jamie, I am a photographers which likes to sell prints from my photographs from my website. But as I can not exists from that alone, my main income is from printing photographs from other photographers. I am a print service provider.
Someone here in the forum may have ask about a automatic workflow as if a customer orders prints from photographs the order may be sent to a print service right after the order is placed or the order is paid. This should be done without interaction of the Pixaria shop owner. But, the interfaces to print service shops may be very difficult to built and there is no standard between them.
How about using some features which are still in Pixaria like, if a customer places a order with prints, Pixaria could collect the hires files for prints into a zip archive and save it at the server. Then it sents a e-mail to the print service with a link to that archive for download. With in the e-mail you have to place the name of the file and printing details as the Pixaria owner shows as product details. Well, the shipping address should also be in the e-mail.
In this case, no one from outside has access rights to Pixaria backend, only downloading a zip archive is possible. No security risk for Pixaria nor the site owner. And if you place only the file for ptin in that zip archive, no confusing about what to print. Only in backend the site owner has to put in the e-mail address for his preferred print service. Thats all.
For me and other print service providers, which are as small as I am in company size, it will not be a problem in downloading a zip file as we are all happy about every order we can get.

Or I like to see another user group within Pixarias admin area, were beside customers and photographers a printservice group with access to orders and files for printing and shipping to the customer exist.
Users of that group will have limited access only to orders which are completed - the customer paid - but not printed and delivered. And only with access to orders with print products.
Or has anyone a nicer idea how to do that? _________________ Adrian Wackernah
